Reiki Mama® School of Reiki

The Reiki Mama® course was designed with the following in mind:

  • For mums to treat themselves and their children during and after pregnancy and to continue throughout their childhood and adolescent years.
  • For dads to be given a special way to bond with their wife and child during and after pregnancy, and to add a new dimension to the parenting experience.
  • For grandparents to treat their own grandchildren and bond with them on a special level.
  • For professionals working with children to be able to utilise a special skill for the benefit of the children in their care and to reach out to children on a different level. Particularly aimed at those working with children with problems or special needs.

Reiki Mama® aims to help parents and professionals reach children on a whole new level and to share the enjoyment and wonderful experiences that Reiki can offer.

Once learned Reiki is a skill that will last you for a lifetime and will improve your overall wellbeing and personal development on many levels.

Reiki Mama® 1st degree Reiki Training

Qualifications and Experience required: None

Suitable for: Parents (mums AND dads welcome) grandparents and anyone working with children

Course length: 2 consecutive days

Qualification Awarded: Reiki 1st Degree

This course is open to anyone wishing to learn Reiki. No previous experience is necessary. It allows you to treat family and friends or children in your care, but does not allow you to charge for your treatments.

Many people use their first degree for personal development and enjoyment and do not feel the need to go on to become a professional Reiki practitioner. The 1st degree provides you with all of the skills necessary to use Reiki for the benefit of yourself and others on a day to day basis.

This course is a first degree Usui Reiki course suitable for treating adults and children with additional Reiki Mama® training for treating children specifically.

Reiki 2nd Degree (Practitioner level) Training

Newborn Baby and Nurse

Qualifications and Experience Required: Reiki 1st Degree Certificate to have been held for a minimum of 6 months.

Suitable for: Those wishing to become a professional Reiki Practitioner or those wanting to broaden their Reiki knowledge.

Course Length: 2 consecutive Days plus coursework and case studies.

Qualification Awarded: Reiki 2nd degree practitioner level with the option of becoming a registered and approved Reiki Mama® Practitioner.

This course is open to existing Reiki 1 students who would like to go on to become a professional Reiki therapist or those who would simply like to develop their Reiki skills further. Professional Practice Insurance is available from insurers to therapists holding 2nd degree Reiki or above.

The 2nd degree course will teach you advanced Reiki skills and also the relevant training necessary to become a professional Reiki practitioner including practitioner professional standards and basic business advice.

Coursework and several case studies are required before certification can be awarded.
